NOTE: We finish at a Amish Grocery Store. They ONLY take cash or checks. They have very reasonable prices.
We will start on the west side of Hummel Park at the Amphitheater at (5373 Sugar Grove Rd Plainfield IN 46168) and head west stopping by a number of covered bridges in Parke County.
GRAVEL ROADS: We will be driving on some gravel roads throughout the drive.
LUNCH: There are limited options for food and drink, so you are encouraged to pack a picnic lunch. Lunch will be at Bridgeton Bridge Mill where they have a small food area and ice cream and plenty of space to sit and enjoy the bridge and flowing water. Note that 2 miles down the road there is Britton Winery which has cheese and meat trays for $11.
ARRIVAL: Please arrive and park at the Amphitheater by 9am. There are restrooms there.
RESTROOMS: Our first restroom break will be around 2 ½ hours after we leave Hummel Park. It will take us about an hour to get to the first covered bridge.
ROUTE includes some of the covered bridges we will walk over, some drive over and a few drive by. We will end up in Rockville after about 5 hours including a few stops and lunch.

Our starting point will be Southland Community Church located at 5800 W Smith Valley Rd, Greenwood, IN 46142 which is right by the I69 interchange.
Plan to arrive by 3:30 p.m. Driver meeting 3:45 p.m. Launch at 4:00 p.m. Ride will take about an hour as we cruise on some Miata made roads, around a local lake, along a river and across a unique one lane bridge before we end up at Mallow Run Winery.
Our final destination will be Mallow Run Winery located at 6964 Whiteland, Bargersville IN (this is just off of RT37).
The winery will be featuring the band Taste Like Chicken, who will be playing a FREE concert from 6pm until 9pm. Click the above link for more info on the concert.
They are a 9 member high energy band that specializes in upbeat dance music from Rock, Pop, R&B and yes...disco to about any genre of music, new and old.
Mallow Run Winery permits only their wine on the property. You can bring in your own food, but various food trucks will be available as well.
Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket!
Should be an enjoyable evening with fellow Miata owners and live entertainment.
We will be sitting on the left side, on the hill when you walk in.

Our August event will be on the road, visiting Zionsville

We will gather in the new open parking lot directly south of The Friendly Tavern at the corner of Main & Sycamore Street.
Main Street-Zionsville offers many dining locations. The group will eat at Rush on Main.
However, there are other options including The Friendly Tavern, Dairy Queen, The Scoop, Bubs and many more. Or bring your own picnic and mingle.
Come out for good food, drinks and lot's of Miata talk!
Our annual trek through the back roads of Brown County. See four lakes and drive a very scenic route including Rt45 which is a fun curvy road. We will eat in Nashville at Casa Del Sol 101 E. Washington St in Nashville
Arrival time: 9am at Mt Pleasant community life center 407 N. Bluff Rd which is north of the church at Fairview and Bluff Road.
NOTE: We are meeting this year at the community center which has restrooms rather then at the church.
